Quyn Do grew up in California and is currently based in New York. She attended the University of California, San Diego where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a dual major in European history and communication and a minor in film / video.

After years of working in broadcast and online news, a slight curiosity about a life outside of journalism led to the discovery of painting and photography. Her interest was initially piqued after watching Séraphine, a film about French painter Séraphine de Senlis.

Her artwork is mainly abstract and she specializes in portraits, specifically musicians and characters who inspire her. Her DSLR and iPhoneography capture her adventures as she navigates through life.
